A Muhlenberg County mother and her two children were injured in a single-vehicle wreck

Greenville, KY (Muhlenberg County) – A Muhlenberg County woman and her two children were injured in a single-vehicle wreck Thursday on KY 171, about three miles south of Greenville.approximately three miles south of Greenville, on Thursday, May 12 at 4:00 p.m.

According to Kentucky State Police, the preliminary investigation revealed that 35 year old Tiffany Landrum, of Greenville, was driving southbound on KY 171 around 4:00 p.m. Thursday when the passenger side tires dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway. Police say Landrum overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle, which caused to cross over the centerline, exit the roadway and crash into a tree.

Police indicate Landrum and her passengers, 14 year old Jacob and 10 year old Bailey, were transported by ambulance to Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of injuries.  Landrum and Bailey Landrum were reportedly wearing seatbelts, while Jacob Landrum was not wearing a seatbelt.

KSP was assisted at the scene by the Greenville Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
