WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Ed Whitfield (KY-01) is pleased to announce a $1,978,980 total grant by the Federal Aviation Administration through the U.S. Department of Transportation. Murray-Calloway County Airport Board will receive these federal funds for the rehabilitation of over 6,000 feet of runway including other improvements at the Kyle-Oakley Field.
“I am pleased to see the Murray-Calloway County Airport receive these important federal funds,” Whitfield said. “These enhancements to the runway will provide the opportunity for further growth and development and benefit the surrounding region as well.”
