UPDATE: KSP Arrests Tennessee Man for Murder Following Altercation

UPDATE:
Hickman, KY. (October 5, 2016) On October 3, 2016 an autopsy was performed in Louisville, KY on Mark Williams, 49, of Hickman, KY. Autopsy results show that Williams suffered three gunshot wounds to the torso.

The investigation is continuing by Detective Corey Hamby.

KSP Arrests Tennessee Man for Murder Following Altercation

Hickman, KY. (October 2, 2016) On Saturday, October 1, 2016, the Kentucky State Police arrested and charged William Jamison, 59 of Tiptonville, TN, with Murder. The arrest stems from an investigation into an altercation between Jamison and Mark Williams, 49, of Hickman, KY. The investigation has shown that the two men were involved in an altercation at approximately 4:00 PM, in a field off of KY 94 in Hickman, KY, when Jamison shot and killed Williams. Williams was pronounced dead upon the arrival of emergency medical personnel. Jamison was lodged in Fulton County Detention Center, where he remains with a $1,000,000 bond. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed on Williams Monday morning in Louisville, KY.

Kentucky State Police was assisted on scene by Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Fulton County Coroner’s Office, and Tri Cities EMS. The investigation is ongoing by Detective Cory Hamby with Kentucky State Police.
