A Sturgis woman was charged this afternoon for filing a false report and drug possession.
Deputy Kyle Dame tells WMSK News that the Union County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24 year old Tuesday Brown, of Sturgis, around 1:35 p.m. Wednesday for falsely accusing a Union County man of rape. During her arrest, Deputy Dame reports Brown was found in possession of prescription medication that did not belong to her.
Brown was lodged in the Union County Detention Center on charges of Falsely Reporting an Incident, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
