Boston Resigns as Head

Bill Stephens

March 25th, 2016

Before school started this morning Coach Boston resigned his position as head football coach at Union County High School. Although he only served one football season as the head coach of the Braves, he has been a part of Brave Nation since coming on staff in January 2015. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the hard work and dedication Coach Boston put in and displayed while leading our football program. We wish him nothing but the best in his new position as head football coach at Henderson County High School. Henderson is getting a great teacher and football coach, but much more importantly a great man.

We have decided to name assistant football coach Derek Johns as the interim head football coach at UCHS. Coach Johns comes highly recommended from Coach Boston and has been part of UCHS football staff for a number of years serving under Nick Eckert, Steve Carter and Josh Boston. We are confident Coach Johns will keep the momentum rolling through the offseason assisting our football players to give their maximum effort leading into another successful football season. Go BRAVES!

Thank you,

Jeremy Tackett
