Two Webster County men injured in single vehicle wreck

Two Webster County men were injured Tuesday in a wreck in Hopkins County.

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office reported to WMSK News Wednesday afternoon that 21 year old Keone Daniels, of Clay, was driving east on US70, Anton Road, around 12:00 p.m. Tuesday when his vehicle ran off the right shoulder of the roadway, went across two driveways and then became airborne. Authorities say the vehicle then crossed a ditch and hit an earth embankment at Bethel Cemetery located at the intersection of Anton and Central City Road.

According to authorities, Daniels and his passenger, 24 year old Dakota Paul of Sebree, were transported by ambulance to Baptist Health for treatment of injuries.

The sheriff’s office indicates they are continuing to investigate what caused the accident.

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Anton Fire Department and Med Center Ambulance.
