Two Muhlenberg County residents were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of KY 189 Bypass and Copper Creek Drive around 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Kentucky State Police reports the preliminary investigation revealed 46 year old John Foreman, of Owensboro, was driving a vehicle southbound on the KY 189 Bypass when he hit a motorcycle making a left turn onto Copper Creek Drive driven by 51 year old Charles Graham, of Greenville. Authorities say the motorcycle turned into the path of Foreman’s vehicle and he was unable to stop and collided with the motorcycle.

According to police, Graham and his passenger, 51 year old Kelly Roberson, of Belton, were pronounced deceased at the scene of the wreck by the Muhlenberg County Coroner’s Office. Police indicate the victims were not wearing helmets.

Authorities say Foreman and three passengers in his vehicle were not injured.

KSP was assisted at the scene by the Powderly, Greenville, and Central City Police Departments, Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department, Greenville Fire Department, Owensboro Health Muhlenberg County Hospital EMS and Gunn’s Towing.
