Two individuals injured in 3-vehicle chain reaction wreck in Henderson

HENDERSON, KY (WMSK) – Two individuals were injured in a three-vehicle chain reaction traffic accident Thursday in the 2400 block of US HWY 41 North in Henderson.

According to Henderson Police, officers responded to the scene of the accident around 8:20 a.m. Thursday where 52 year old Kevin Koressel, of Evansville, was driving south in the left lane of US41N when he stopped in traffic. Police indicate a second vehicle driven by 37 year old Kimberly Brainard, of Evansville, was stopped behind Koressel when a third vehicle, driven by 20 year old Edward Yeviny of Henderson, didn’t notice they had stopped and crashed into the rear of Brainard’s vehicle, setting off a chain-reaction.

Police report Brainard was treated for injuries at the scene of the wreck and released, while Yeviny was transported by ambulance to the emergency room at Methodist Hospital for treatment of injuries.
