Authorities are investigating an accident in Union County involving a semi owned by a local farmer that ran off the road and caught fire.
Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Kyle Dame tells WMSK News the wreck occurred around KY141S near McClure Cemetery Road when a McElroy Farms semi, driven by Brad Wood of Illinois, exited the roadway, hit a pole and then caught fire. He indicates the driver sustained very minor injuries.
The sheriff’s office is asking motorists to avoid the area while crews work to clean up the wreck scene.
