HICKORY, KY (WMSK) – On Tuesday, Kentucky State Police arrested an Eddyville woman after they were contacted by the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex in reference to a complaint of an employee having a sexual relationship with an inmate.
During an investigation, KSP reports they learned that 41 year old Robbie E. Markham, of Eddyville, was an employee of Correct Care Solutions working as a vendor at the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex as the Medical Director of the complex. Markham is alleged to have had an ongoing sexual relationship with an inmate since March of 2016.
During a search of Markham’s vehicle, police reportedly found a firearm and a box of ammunition.
Markham was arrested and lodged in the Caldwell County Jail on charges of Rape 3rd Degree (10 counts), Sodomy 3rd Degree (7 counts), Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree (10 counts), and Promoting Contraband, 1st Degree.
The investigation is continuing by Detective Eric Fields.
