Cadiz, Ky. (October 3, 2016) On October 2, 2016 at around 8:00 pm, Kentucky State Police was contacted by the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office after they received a 911 call in reference to a stabbing in Cerulean, KY. KSP Troopers were dispatched to an address on Washington Ave in Cerulean, KY.
Preliminary investigation shows that Elfonzo D. Hatcher, 43, of Cadiz, KY had sustained a stab wound and was transported by personal vehicle to Trigg County Hospital for non-life threatening injuries prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
Through investigation, it was also determined that material witnesses may have fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
They Kentucky State Police are following all leads at this time and believe there are additional witnesses that have not yet come forward.
