KSP Charges Cadiz, KY Man with Crimes Related to Child Sexual Exploitation

(Cadiz, KY.) –A Trigg County man has been charged for crimes related to child sexual exploitation.

According to Kentucky State Police, say on February 5, 2016 they were made aware of suspicious internet activity regarding Trigg County resident 43 year old Billy D. Addison, of Cadiz, KY. KSP indicates the allegations stemmed from information obtained from the National Center for Exploited and Missing Children (NCMEC) in Washington, D.C. Upon receipt of the information, KSP Post 1 Internet Crime Against Children (ICAC) detectives assigned to the ICAC Task Force began an investigation.

After executing several search warrants and interviews, the release says detectives were able to gather enough evidence to obtain arrest warrants for Addison on March 2, 2016 for the following crimes:

1 count of Sexual Abuse 1st degree/ victim under 12 YOA
1 count of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Minor Under/ 16 YOA
8 counts of Possession or Viewing of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor

On March 3, 2016, the Trigg County Sheriff’s Department located and served the KSP arrest warrants on Addison and he was lodged in the the Christian County Detention Center.

The investigation is continuing by Detective Brett Miller.

The Kentucky State Police were assisted by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and the Trigg County Sheriff’s Department.
