Troopers Say Victim was Accidently Shot
HENDERSON, Ky. (January 03, 2019)–Kentucky State Police troopers are investigating the death of an Henderson County man in the 2200 block of Holloway Lane in Henderson County.
Authorities were notified of the shooting around 10:15am after Paul R. Sutton, 76 of Henderson called 911 stating he had accidently shot himself in the abdomen. Sutton was transported to Methodist Hospital in Henderson via ambulance before being transferred to Saint Vincent Hospital in Evansville where he succumbed to his injury.
Troopers believe Sutton accidently shot himself while unloading a pistol.
The investigation is continuing and foul play is not suspected.
