A man police say is homeless was arrested over the weekend in Henderson and charged with possessing drugs.
Henderson Police report an officer recognized 22 year old Jacob Bellew walking around Wal-mart and remembered he had active warrants. When the officer approached Bellew, police say he ran, but was quickly apprehended by the officer and taken into custody.
Police reportedly found a bag containing a green leafy substance on Bellew, along with a Xanax pill.
Bellew was booked into the Henderson County Detention Center for possessing a controlled substance and marijuana, fleeing and evading police on foot and criminal mischief.
