A 22 year old Henderson man was injured early this morning in a single-vehicle wreck on US 41 South.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reports 22 year old Jacob Moore was driving south on US 41-South around 1:50 Wednesday morning when an animal ran out in front of his Corvette. Authorities say Moore swerved off the roadway and hit a sign with the vehicle coming to rest wedged in a ditch.
According to the sheriff’s office, Moore was removed from the vehicle by first responders and transported by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital for back pain. His passenger, 22 year old Trey Large of Henderson, was not injured.
