LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 19, 2016) – The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission (KHRC) announced today the release of the Kentucky Thoroughbred Breeders’ Incentive Funds, totaling more than $10.5 million on nearly 4,000 races.

Governor Bevin Holds Planned Parenthood Accountable for Operating Unlicensed Abortion Facility

FRANKFORT, Ky – On Thursday, Governor Matt Bevin announced that the Cabinet for Health and Family Services has filed a lawsuit against Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky, Inc. for operating a facility in which 23 abortions were performed unlawfully from December 3, 2015 through January 28, 2016.

Attorney General: Kentucky Receives Nearly $300,000 in Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation Settlement

FRANKFORT, KY. (Feb. 18, 2016) – Attorney General Andy Beshear announced today he will be returning $295,916 to Kentucky’s Medicaid accounts as a result of a multistate settlement with Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation.
In his first six weeks, Beshear has now returned $2.8 million to the Kentucky Medicaid Program.
