KY Highway Water Over Road Report for D2 at 9:45 p.m.
traffic ALERT
US 60 is CLOSED due to flood waters at the 23 to 26mm in Union County at the Union-Henderson County Line.
Detour for passenger vehicles is via KY 141 at Waverly to KY 359, and KY 136 through Smith Mills to return to US 60 at Henderson.
The Detour for TRUCKS is via KY 56 and US 41-Alternate.
Motorists should use caution along the detour.
Traffic ALERT
US 60 is CLOSED between the Spottsville Bridge and the Henderson-Daviess County Line due to water over the roadway along an extended section. This is along US 60 near the KET tower between about the 20 and 25 mile marker.
Water is over a foot deep and rising along this extended section.

Several heavy bands of rainfall have been moving across the region. There are flash flood, Thunderstorm, and Tornado Warnings posted for many of our counties. This will make for hazardous driving conditions during the overnight hours and into Sunday morning. We would encourage everyone to avoid unnecessary travel.
