Wreck leads to arrest of Henderson man on burglary, theft and other charges

A two-vehicle wreck in Henderson County netted the arrest of a Henderson man for burglary and other charges.

According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a wreck around 10:10 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Dr. Hodges Road involving a pickup truck and ATV. Upon arrival, deputies were advised by the driver of the truck that the driver of the ATV had left with the all terrain vehicle. After investigating the incident, deputies say they found the ATV and the driver 24 year old Kyle Justice of Henderson.

During the investigation, authorities say it was found that Justice had taken the 4-wheeler from his neighbor, and that he had entered his neighbor’s home without permission.

After being taken into custody, deputies say Justice was taken to Methodist Hospital where he was treated for injuries that resulted from accident with the pickup truck. Upon release from the hospital, Justice was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center on charges of theft by unlawful taking auto $500 or more but under $10,000, two counts of first degree criminal mischief, second degree burglary, leaving the scene of an accident and operating an ATV on the roadway.
