A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is working on KY 56 at the end of the northbound I-69 Sebree Exit ramp in WEBSTER County.
This work zone to facilitate some drainage work will create one lane traffic on KY 56 and will prohibit right turns from the northbound I-69 exit ramp to KY 56 eastbound.
Northbound motorists who plan to turn eastbound on KY 56 will have to take a left, then do a turnabout to return eastbound.
Motorists traveling KY 56 through the I-69 Sebree Interchange should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers.
This work zone is expected to be up from about 9 a.m., CDT, to about 2 p.m., TODAY.
Motorists should use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
