Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Cavins, age 88 of Morganfield, who died Friday, January 7, 2011 at Morganfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Uniontown with Fr. Terry Devine and Fr. Freddie Byrd officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 8 a.m. until service time today at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Agnes Church Building Fund.
Mr. James R. “Jim Ray” Barrett, age 68 of Henderson, formerly of Uniontown, died Friday, January 7, 2011 at Methodist Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Gary Ashby officiating. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or to Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville.
Mr. Johnny Simpson, age 75, former Uniontown resident, died Friday at his home in Titusville, Florida. Arrangements are pending in Union County.
