WMSK AM/FM is located in the city of Morganfield in Union County, Kentucky and serves all of Union, Henderson, Crittenden, and Webster Counties in Kentucky, portions of Vanderberg County and Posey County in Indiana, and portions of Gallatin, White, and Hardin Counties in Illinois.

WMSK’s format is country music, with a heavy emphasis on information. The FM station is 5400 watts, and the AM station is 250 watts daytime, with reduced power at sunset. WMSK AM/FM broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Local news is broadcast three times daily Monday thru Friday at 7:45 AM, 12:15 PM, and 4:15 PM and Weekends at 7:45 AM and 12:03 PM. It features information of special interest to residents of Union and surrounding counties. Local events, political news, economic news, and day-to-day occurrences are all a part of the daily news.

Our Network News from the Associated Press provides up to the minute news and information from around the nation, and around the world. Timely and concise reports from AP reporters worldwide are provided every hour on both WMSK AM and WMSK FM.

Kentucky News from KNN, the Kentucky News Network, brings important happenings from around the state into the home of area residents. From the rural farms and towns to the larger urban areas, KNN provides the latest statewide coverage. KNN News airs hourly from 6 AM to 5 PM on WMSK AM and at 7:05 AM, 12:10 PM, and 4:10 PM on WMSK FM.

Farm news reports feature the latest prices for livestock and grain markets as well as agricultural information necessary to help today’s progressive farmer make important decisions. Reports are at 6:35 AM and 12:25 PM on WMSK FM.

Wednesdays at 10:03 AM WMSK FM features Dr. Terry Harmon of Chi Rho Health and Wellness Center in Morganfield with a quarter hour of health and wellness information.

WMSK play-by-play sports include local high school football, baseball, softball, and both boys and girls basketball. University of Kentucky Basketball and Football and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball are also broadcast on WMSK. Play-by-play broadcasts vary by time and station depending on the season. We also feature sports reports on WMSK FM at 6:10 AM, 7:25 AM, 12:10 PM and 4:10 PM. These include nationwide, state and local sports reports.

WMSK also broadcasts the Trading Post, a program where our listeners can advertise anything for sale, trade, give-away, lost, or found as long as it is not for commercial concern.  The Trading post airs at 8:45 AM on WMSK FM and 11:05 AM on WMSK AM.
