WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Ed Whitfield (KY-01), issued the following statement coinciding with the funeral services of Henderson County Judge Executive, Donald “Hugh” McCormick, Jr.:
“I join the entire Henderson community as they come together today to lay to rest Judge McCormick. It has been my pleasure to work with Hugh on issues affecting Henderson County and I will miss him. Judge McCormick passed away last Thursday and leaves behind his wife, Tina, as well as four daughters and three grandchildren. His 25 years of dedicated public service has helped the economic growth of Henderson County and I extend my sympathy to his loved ones during this difficult time.”
