Webster Co. man charged with 2nd DUI after 2-vehicle wreck

A Webster County man was charged with DUI after authorities say he rear-ended a vehicle on the US 41 North bridge Wednesday night.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reports 28 year old Ryan Walker of Clay was driving a SUV southbound on the US 41 North bridge in a construction area reduced to one lane when he rear-ended a vehicle driven by Tamala Glosser of Evansville, Indiana. As a result of the collision, authorities say Glosser and a passenger were injured in the collision, and a passenger in Walker’s vehicle also complained of a minor head injury. All three injured individuals were transported to Methodist Hospital in Henderson for treatment.

During the investigation, the report states deputies determined Walker was driving under the influence. He was arrested and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center facing several charges including DUI 2nd Offense Aggravated Circumstances and Possession of Open Alcohol Container.

The sheriff’s office indicates the southbound lanes of US 41 North were shut down for about 1.5 hours while crews worked the scene.
