W. David Smith, 64 of Marion, KY formerly of the Pride area passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Skyline Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born July 31, 1954 to the late Bill and Martha Smith. David was a member of Marion Baptist Church. He was a life-long farmer who loved his work. Most of all, David loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

2 Sisters: Connie McCann and husband Mike of Marion, KY
Dianne Marshall of Salem, KY
2 Grandchildren: Case and Hudson Cummins
2 Nieces: Dava McCann of Boise, ID
Amanda Guess of Paducah, KY
1 Nephew: Heath McCann and wife Terra of Marion, KY
The service will be 1PM Friday, March 8, 2019 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. The burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Marion. The visitation will be 4-8PM Thursday and 11AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
