In addition, as previously reported last week by WMSK News…the Union County Farm Bureau also was recognized with a 2015 Safety Challenge Award for producing a safety/health event for fifth-grade students in the area, which included fourteen stations for students that covered a wide variety of safety topics such as fire, water, ATV and toxic materials.

Kentucky Farm Bureau is the state’s largest general farm organization with more than 468-thousand member families statewide. Approximately 15-hundred members attended the KFB’s annual meeting in Louisville last week to recognize this year’s individual and organizational achievements and adopt policy for 2016.
