Union Co. Public Library District’s Summer Read/Feed Program Kicks-Off TODAY, June 6, 2016

The Union County Public Library’s Summer Read & Feed Program will kick-off Monday, June 6, 2016.

Library Coordinator for the Summer Read & Feed Program, Angie McGuire tells WMSK News this is the fifth year for the program sponsored by the Union County Public Library District. She says the program offers food and a learning experience.

She says the program is for all children.

When they started Summer Read & Fee Program, McGuire indicates it was to continue the learning process throughout the summer months.

If your child wants to participate in the summer program, registration is required.

This year, McGuire says the Summer Read & Feed program will be offered at the following five sites:

And this year children can win big prizes. Library officials say if children attend 20 days of the Summer Read/Feed program and read at least 20 books, they will be entered to win some fun prizes like a brand new bike or tickets to Holiday World.

The Union County Public Library Summer Read & Feed program will be held at these five sites beginning Monday, June 06, 2016 through July 8, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
