UCSO: Uniontown woman injured in 3-vehicle wreck on US60E

A Uniontown woman was injured in a three-vehicle wreck on US60E around 6:50 a.m. Tuesday.

Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Heady tells WMSK News deputies and emergency personnel responded to the scene of the crash that occurred in front of the Kentucky Utilities building.

According to an investigation, he says the driver of a delivery truck driven by 43 year old Bryan Reeves of Morganfield became distracted and hit a vehicle driven by 31 year old Benjamin Hammers of Morganfield as traffic slowed to make a left hand turn. Deputy Heady indicates the collision caused Hammers’ truck to crash into a vehicle driven by 26 year old Mary Burke of Uniontown. He indicates Hammer’s truck and Burke’s vehicle were severely damaged in the accident.

Deputy Heady says Burke was transported by ambulance to Union County Methodist Hospital for treatment of injuries.
