Two injured in Crittenden Co. 3-vehicle wreck

Two people were injured in a three-vehicle wreck in Crittenden County on US 60 West on Moore Hill around 6:20 p.m. Sunday.

Kentucky State Police reports a preliminary investigation revealed 83 year old Clifton Arflack of Salem, KY was driving his car westbound on US 60 W when he hit another vehicle driven by 65 year old Cynthia Pendley of Marion, KY who was stopped waiting for oncoming traffic to pass before making a left hand turn. During the collision, police say Pendley’s car was pushed into the path of oncoming traffic where it hit a vehicle traveling eastbound driven by 38 year old Chenoa Smith of Marion, KY.

According to KSP, Arflack and Pendley were transported by ambulance to Livingston County Hospital for treatment of injuries. They indicate Smith and her two passengers were uninjured in the accident.

KSP was assisted at the scene by Crittenden County EMS, Crittenden County Constable, and the State Highway Department.
