Trenton man injured in single-vehicle wreck on KY 848 in Todd County

Trenton, KY (Todd County) – The Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle, injury-collision that occurred on KY 848, approximately two miles east of Trenton, on Saturday, October 24, at 11:20 a.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Jeremy Thurman, 32, Trenton, was operating a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt westbound on KY 848 when he lost control of the vehicle on the wet roadway. It exited the left shoulder and struck a utility pole. The vehicle came to rest in a ditch.

Mr. Thurman was transported via ambulance to the Gateway Medical Center for treatment. He was wearing a seatbelt. There were no passengers involved.

Sergeant Jeff Ayres investigated the collision. Todd County Fire & Rescue and Todd County EMS assisted at the scene.
