Traffic stop leads to arrest of 4 Henderson residents

A traffic stop Monday led to the arrest of four Henderson residents on various charges.

Henderson Police report the traffic stop occurred around 3:05 Monday morning at the intersection of South Green Street and Plum Street of a vehicle driven by 35 year old Billy Rigdon. Police say officers learned there were active warrants for Rigdon’s two passengers, 35 year old Michelle Outlaw and 27 year old Stevan Allen.

During a consented search of the vehicle, police reportedly found salt, clear liquids that smelled like Ether, bottles containing white substances which field tested positive for methamphetamine, and lithium batteries, all items used to manufacture meth. In addition, police say a set of brass knuckles/knife were found concealed next to the front console.

According to authorities, Rigdon was taken into custody for his second or greater offense of manufacturing meth and License Plate not legible. Allen was arrested for a Parole Violation Warrant, Outlaw was arrested for a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear, and another passenger, Lester VanVactor was taken into custody for carrying a concealed weapon.

All four subjects were lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
