A traffic shift planned Friday along KY 56 west of Morganfield in Union County has been delayed, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
Spokesman Keith Todd says the work was delayed because the contractor wants to complete some additional work that will make the traffic shift go much easier.
According to Todd, they anticipate the traffic shift along KY 56/Morganfield-Shawneetown Road to rescheduled sometime in the next two (2) weeks, weather permitting. When the work is rescheduled the work zone will be on KY 56 between KY 360 extending eastward to KY 3393/The Morganfield Bypass.
