April 11th, 2017
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict SOUTHBOUND traffic to one lane on the US 41 Twin Bridges on Thursday morning, April 13, 2017.
Southbound traffic will be restricted to one lane starting at 8 a.m., CDT, Thursday, to allow pothole patching and removal of accumulated debris on the southbound bridge. All southbound traffic will move to the left-hand or passing lane in this work zone.
This southbound work zone is expected to remain up until around Noon on Thursday.
Motorists should use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
Anyone hauling material on a public roadway is required to properly secure their load. When material falls off a loaded truck or trailer the driver can be cited. Motorists and truckers who are hauling materials are reminded to properly secure all materials before hitting the road.
As a reminder, night lane restrictions continue on the northbound bridge from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., CDT, through Thursday. No work zone lane restrictions are planned on the US 41 Twin Bridges during the Easter Holiday driving period.
