The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of KY 143 in Webster County on Monday & Tuesday, June 3 & 4, 2019.
KY 143 will be closed near the 11 mile marker about ½ mile south of the KY 109 intersection to allow a large cross drain to be replaced. This closure is along KY 143 between the Blackford Community and KY 109.
The work is likely to require KY 143 to remain closed at this site during the overnight hours.
The roadway is expected to reopen to traffic around 3:00 p.m., CDT, on Tuesday, June 4th. KYTC engineers will attempt to provide timely notice if the project is completed earlier than expected.
There will be no marked detour.
