Three Marion residents injured in 2-vehicle wreck in Crittenden Co.

Three Crittenden County residents were injured in a two-vehicle wreck on US 641 Sunday night.

According to Kentucky State Police, a preliminary investigation revealed 25 year old Wade Wedeking, of Marion, was driving a van southbound on US 641 around 7:10 p.m. Sunday when he went to make a left turn into a driveway just north of the intersection of US 641 and KY 70 and turned into the path of a pickup truck being driven by 21 year old Austin Story, of Marion, and the two vehicles collided.

Police indicate Wedeking, Story and a passenger in his vehicle, 27 year old Tiffany Combs of Marion, were transported by ambulance to Crittenden Health Systems for treatment of injuries.

State police report all occupants were wearing their seatbelts.

The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department, Crittenden Fire & Rescue, and Crittenden County EMS assisted KSP at the scene of the accident.
