Three Henderson Residents Arrested on Warrants

Three Henderson residents were arrested on warrants Thursday afternoon for various charges from theft to cultivating marijuana.

According to Henderson Police, officers located 31 year old Norman Coomes-Utley at a residence on Lieber Street and served multiple warrants out of Henderson County for charges of first degree Fleeing and Evading Police in a motor vehicle, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and other misdemeanor offenses.  Police say Coomes-Utley was also served an arrest warrant out of Hopkins County for second degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Hallucinogen, and Cultivating Marijuana – five plants or more.

In addition, police reportedly located 30 year old Tyler Avery and 25 year old Summer Gish at the same residence and they were served arrest warrants for Theft By Unlawful Taking Over $500 but less than $10,000.

All three subjects were lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
