Three Henderson residents arrested in drug bust

Three Henderson residents are behind bars facing drug trafficking charges after a drug bust around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Sure-Way South Store parking lot on South Green Street.

During the surveillance of drug activity, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reports that Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force detectives observed a Jeep pull into the Sureway parking lot when a male subject identified as 28 year old Allen D. Frederick, a.k.a. Flocka, got out of the Jeep and walked over to another vehicle and appeared to be conducting a drug transaction with another subject. A short time later, authorities say Frederick was seen leaving the vehicle and getting back into the Jeep Cherokee.

Detectives with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force then called for a sheriff’s deputy to assist at the scene as they approached the Jeep as it tried to leave the parking lot.

According to authorities, they asked the female driver identified as 45 year Tracey L. Parker to get out of the Jeep when she dropped two small containers of suspected crystal meth and then tried to hide a glass drug pipe on top of the front tire of the Jeep while being questioned by detectives.

Deputies indicate 42 year old John C. Gilbert Jr. was patted down and detectives found a suspected meth pipe on him, as well as a large amount of cash inside the vehicle along with several small packages of suspected meth, scales and other items used in trafficking illegal drugs.

Frederick, Parker and Gilbert were lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for trafficking controlled substance – methamphetamine over two grams, possession of a controlled substance – meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, police say Parker was charged with tampering with physical evidence.
