Unemployment Rate for June 2016 Rose in Union, Crittenden and Webster Counties Compared to June 2015

Unemployment rates fell in 64 Kentucky counties between June 2015 and June 2016, rose in 49 counties, including Union, Crittenden and Webster, and remained the sale in seven counties, including Henderson, according to the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training.

Union Co. Sheriff’s Office Involved in High Speed Chase of Shawneetown Bank Robbery Suspect

A high speed chase involving the Union County Sheriff’s Office of a suspect that robbed a bank in Shawneetown, IL ended when the suspect, identified as a Reed, KY man, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the side of a gasoline tanker.
