…Slick spots possible on the early morning commute…

While the heaviest snow shower activity has come to an end, the
combination of wet roads from earlier snow and sub-freezing
temperatures may create patchy slick spots in the form of black
ice on some roadways. This will be most common on elevated
surfaces, such as bridges and overpasses. If you are traveling
early this morning, please slow down, especially when approaching
a bridge or overpass. Allow yourself extra following distance and
additional time to reach your destination. Temperatures should
rise above freezing by 8 to 9 AM CST.
