Southbound Night Lane Restriction on US 41 Twin Bridges at Henderson starting Thursday, Nov 17

Motorists traveling the US 41 Twin Bridges in Henderson need to be aware a Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contractor plans a night lane restriction for southbound traffic beginning Thursday night in order to allow deck patching to prepare for winter weather.

Spokesman Keith Todd says the contractor plans to set up a night work zone lane restriction on the southbound bridge on Thursday, Friday and Sunday night, weather permitting, from about 6 p.m. each evening until approximately 5 a.m. the following morning.

If additional work is required, he indicates the contractor could return on Monday night.
Motorists traveling from Indiana into Kentucky on the US 41 Twin Bridges at night should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach the southbound bridge.

Approximately 40,000 vehicles per day cross the Ohio River between Henderson and Evansville, IN.
