A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a work zone lane restriction for shoulder work along a section of US 60 around Owensboro on WEDNESDAY, January 6, 2016.
Motorists should be alert for lane restrictions to facilitate graveling of shoulders along US 60/The Wendell Ford Expressway from mile point 15.337 extending eastward to mile point 18.761. This is along US 60/The Wendell Ford Expressway from the Sutherland Road Overpass to KY 603/The Pleasant Valley Road Connector.
This moving work zone is expected to go up around 7 a.m., CST, and remain up at various locations along this section through the day.
Motorist should use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
