An Illinois woman was injured in a single-vehicle wreck in Union County this morning.
Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Tracy Steinhoff tells WMSK News 48 year old Tamara Mulvey, of Shawneetown, was driving toward Morganfield on State Highway 56 West when she lost control of her vehicle and ran off the road into a ditch.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene of the accident around 9:35 Thursday morning. According to Deputy Steinhoff, when they arrived on the scene Mulvey was complaining of neck pain and she was transported by ambulance to Methodist Hospital Union County for treatment.
