Motorists traveling KY 492 in Union County need to be aware a section of the road will be closed Tuesday.
KY 492 will be closed during daylight hours between KY 270 and KY 2101 in the Wash Creek Area southwest of the Henshaw community in order to allow a cross drain to be replaced, according to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials.
The roadway is expected to close around 7:45 Tuesday morning and is expected to reopen to traffic about 3:30 Tuesday afternoon.
Officials indicate there will not be a marked detour.
