REMINDER: Work Zone Lane Restriction along I-69 in WEBSTER & HENDERSON Counties starting TUESDAY, April 19

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane along Interstate 69 in Webster and Henderson counties starting Tuesday, April 19, 2016.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane along I-69 from mile point 136.5 in Webster County extending northward to mile pont 142.35 in Henderson County, a distance of 5.85 miles.  This is along I-69 (formerly the Pennyrile Parkway) between the KY 56 Sebree-Owensboro Exit 135 Interchange and the KY 2675 Overpass.

This work zone lane restriction for both northbound and southbound traffic is to allow milling and paving operations continuing for several weeks.

This work zone includes a strictly enforced 55 mile per hour speed limit with an enhanced enforcement presense and double fines for citations.

Hall Contracting of Kentucky, Inc, is the prime contractor on this $11 million project that includes ongoing general upgrades to the I-69 Corridor along 40 miles of the former Pennyrile Parkway.
