Rainy conditions contributed to a two-vehicle wreck in Hopkins County Tuesday night that sent two Webster County residents to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
Madisonville Police report 54 year old Connie Hopper of Clay was driving north on Nebo Road around 7:00 Tuesday night when her windshield wiper quit working and her windshield became blurry causing her to cross over the center line and crash head-on into a pickup truck driven by 47 year old David Russell of Providence.
According to police, Hopper and Russell were transported by ambulance to the emergency room at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
