The Providence Police Department made a few arrests last week from DUI to drug possession charges.
Police Chief Brent McDowell reports 31 year old Brandy Johnson of Madisonville was arrested on Monday, April 4, 2016, for her 2nd DUI offense, Speeding Over 20 MPH and second degree Wanton Endangerment.
On Friday, April 8, 2016, 34 year old Joshua Winningham of Madisonville was arrested on a Parole Violation Warrant, 2 warrants from Hopkins County for Contempt of Court, a warrant for Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Fleeing or Evading Police, and he was charged for Giving Officer False Name or Address.
And, Chief McDowell reports 31 year old Vincent Logan of Providence was arrested on Saturday, April 9, 2016, on three Bench Warrants from Webster County and he was also charged with 1st Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance – 2 grams or more of methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
No other details were released regarding what led up to the arrests or charges.
