Princeton woman injured after being ejected from pickup truck in single-vehicle wreck

Princeton, KY (Caldwell County) – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a single-vehicle, injury-collision that occurred on US 62, approximately four miles from the Caldwell/Hopkins County line, on Wednesday, November 18, at 2:09 p.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Lindsay O’Bryan, 32, Princeton, was operating a 2000 Nissan Frontier pickup truck eastbound on US 62. As she entered a curve, the vehicle slid sideways and exited the eastbound shoulder of the roadway where it struck an earthen embankment. The vehicle came to rest facing north, partially in the eastbound lane of travel.

Ms. O’Bryan, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported via ambulance to the Caldwell Medical Center for treatment.

Trooper Ben Sawyer is investigating the collision. Caldwell County EMS, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department, the Dawson Springs Police Department, and the Princeton Fire Department assisted at the scene.
