Around 4:05 p.m. Tuesday, August 9th, the Owensboro Police Department reports officers responded to an accident with injuries call in the 3000 block of E. Yellowstone Drive after an argument began between 46 year old Kristine Peters, of Owensboro and her boyfriend, Richard Askins.

According to police, Peters was driving her Honda Civic passenger car on Omega Street when she intentionally struck a Dodge Dakota pickup truck being driven by her boyfriend, Askins. Authorities say Askins then drove to the 3000 block of E. Yellowstone Drive where Peters again intentionally rammed into his pickup with her
vehicle. Police indicate Peters lost control of her vehicle and then struck the home at 3007 E. Yellowstone Drive. Two residents inside at the time were reportedly not injured.

Peters was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for a minor head injury and was later released. She is currently lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center for 3 counts of first degree wanton endangerment and first degree criminal mischief.
