JACKSON, Ky. (AP) — Authorities say one man is dead and two others have been injured after a shooting in Breathitt County.
Kentucky State Police tell media outlets that Sandra Hurt is accused of shooting her husband, her son and another woman at a Jackson home.
Officials were called Saturday after two people were brought to the emergency room with gunshot wounds.
When police arrived at the house, they found 47-year-old Henry Michael Hurt dead, and his wife, Sandra Hurt, was found unresponsive. She was taken to the hospital for treatment of undetermined medical issues.
Police say Alex Hurt and Heather Sizemore both received gunshot wounds to the chest. Their conditions are unknown.
Although Sandra Hurt is expected to be charged, police say no charges have been filed yet because of her medical condition.
