A pedestrian hit by a vehicle Fridsy night in Madisonville has died from his injuries.
Madisonville Police report 56 year old Anthony Allison of Madisonville died Saturday morning at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.
According to police, Allison was hit by a vehicle driven by 26 year old Chase Western of Madisonville around 9:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of South Madison Avenue and West Lake Street.
Police say Western was driving south on South Madison Avenue approaching the intersection when Allison stepped off the sidewalk onto the street and into the path of the car. Chase reportedly didn’t see Allison in time to react and hit the 56 year old man.
The release indicates the Madisonville Police and Fire Departments provided emergency aid and Allison was transported to the emergency room at Baptist Health in Madisonville. He was then flown to the emergency room at Deaconess Hospital in unstable condition, according to police. Tvey say he died the following morning from his injuries.
