LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Authorities have found more bones in part of a vehicle that was pulled out of the Kentucky River.
The Lexington Herald-Leader (http://bit.ly/2f1smK1 ) reports that authorities pulled the back half of the car from the river on Saturday and discovered a right femur, two radiuses and an ulna.
The front half of the car was pulled from the river on Oct. 22 after the Lexington Fire Department began working near the Valley View Ferry to pull out some vehicles. Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn says officials discovered bones from a human foot and ankle that day.
Ginn said samples from the bony structures will be sent to a lab for testing.
Four other vehicles have been pulled out of the river during the operation.
